Water treatment VS pollution in Chateauroux :
In this picture we can see the treatment of water. The station of depuration isn’t in center of city, but in periferic area, near the hippodrome. The visit had been really interesting, because we have discovered the cycle that the water do to be depurated. In this photo we can see only a part of water treatment, indeed there are many phases: at first, water is recuperated and put in a closed building, where the pre-treatment begins.
Water is transported in another tank by Archimede’s screws, and then it is filtered. Next, the water in put in very big vats where there are bacteria that remove pollutant substances for purifying it. Then, water is separated by bacteria, and at the end of the cycle, the water was rejected in rivier. So, there aren’t danger for animals and for human’s.
