Presence of nature in Chateauroux
The 20 September, with our group class, composed by the Italian students, the German students and the French ones, we went visiting the city of Chateauroux.
We started by visiting the school we’re in, the High School Pierre et Marie Curie: we met the Headmaster and then we went out the school and we went around the city to see how could be the town. When we got outside of the school there were not much trees and flowers, there were a lot of buildings instead. But after a few hours of visiting we noticed how much differences there were between France and Italy, for example, in particular about the relationship between men and nature.
We were in a park named “Belle Isle”, where there were so beautiful plantations and gardens, with fountains and geometrical trees.
There were flowers of all colours decorating the place, with green fields and benches.
After we went to other places, but we think those first impressions about how the citizens found a way to cooperate with nature instead of oppressing it, they are very particular and everyone thought, should do like this in their own city.
