Free busses and mass transit issues

Chateauroux is the first city in France which is offering free busses for everybody which is very good for the environment.
So the commuters don't have to use their own cars which is good because if only one person is driving with his car he produces more fumes than a bus which is transporting over 50 commuters. Do not forget that this is another good point for the global warming.
This is one of 3 positive aspects.

Another aspect is the social one which is important, too because the people who don't earn so much money don't have to care how to come from point A to B.

For the economical aspect it's also important because when people don't have to care about the ticket, more people spend their money for shopping and that's good for the economy.
