Water treatment plant

Yesterday we visited the "Water treatment plant", we were in three different groups: italian, french and german. Each group had a skilled person who had showed us the station and he explain to us how the machines work.
At the beginning the man showed us the water that people use in the city.
After we saw a special place, where there was a mechanical arm that divided solid material from liquid material.

Later we saw a big container that contained mud and lime and it's needed for keeping bacterias alive.

In the second container the water was moved and mud went down and it was moved in the first container. In this passage is clean but not drinkable.

In the last container water was filtered and returned in the nature.

They didn't use chemicals materials and they're trying to purify the air.

There are also a little lake where there is some special frogs that they are protected.

Sara, Manuela and Madeleine.
